MAGA Erupts After Trump Cabinet Official Celebrates Beef Exports While Prices Explode

President Donald Trump’s own supporters are turning on Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins after a social media post celebrating new beef exports to China triggered outrage among conservatives already furious over soaring meat prices in America.

The backlash exploded Saturday after Rollins proudly announced that China would soon resume importing American beef from 17 U.S. states as part of a new trade agreement pushed by the Trump administration.

“American beef — the best beef in the world! — will be back on the shelves in China soon,” Rollins wrote while praising Trump as the administration’s “deal-maker-in-chief.”

But the timing immediately ignited a firestorm.

Just one day earlier, reports showed U.S. beef prices had surged above $7 per pound for the first time in recorded history, intensifying frustration among consumers already struggling with inflation and rising grocery costs.

Instead of celebrating the announcement, many MAGA-aligned influencers and conservative commentators reacted with disbelief — asking why the administration was focusing on exporting beef overseas while Americans increasingly struggle to afford it at home.

Sean Davis, co-founder of The Federalist, blasted the move publicly.

“We just relaxed tariffs on Argentinian beef because the lack of U.S. supply relative to demand was jacking up prices,” Davis wrote.

“But now we are going to export the U.S. beef we were told we were short on to China? Make it make sense.”

The criticism quickly spread across conservative social media.

Former Republican congressional candidate David Giglio questioned why the administration seemed more focused on foreign markets than American consumers.

“How about we focus on having affordable beef on the shelves in, I don’t know, America???” he wrote.

The outrage reflects growing anxiety among Trump supporters over rising food prices and inflation — issues that have increasingly become political liabilities for Republicans heading into the midterm elections.

According to recent financial reports, beef prices in the United States have climbed roughly 77% since 2020, creating what some economists and commentators are now calling “beeflation.”

The price spike is expected to impact everything from grocery store purchases to fast-food chains like McDonald’s and Burger King, potentially leading to even higher prices nationwide.

But what truly shocked many observers was how aggressively MAGA influencers turned on one of Trump’s own Cabinet officials.

Wendy Patterson, a prominent pro-Trump voice online, unleashed one of the harshest attacks.

“The small herds didn’t prevent her from selling American Beef to feed CHINA,” Patterson wrote.

“Fire her already.”

Others accused Rollins of sounding completely disconnected from what ordinary Americans are currently experiencing at grocery stores and restaurants.

The controversy also highlights a growing tension inside the MAGA movement itself.

For years, Trump built much of his support around promises to prioritize American workers, consumers, and industries first. But critics inside his own base now argue that exporting beef during a domestic affordability crisis directly contradicts that message.

And as inflation, food prices, and economic anxiety continue dominating political conversations nationwide, some conservatives fear the backlash could deepen if Americans feel basic necessities are becoming increasingly unaffordable.

For now, Rollins has not backed away from the announcement.

But the political fallout from her celebration is rapidly spreading — and some of Trump’s loudest supporters are openly demanding consequences.
