Stepson Betrays Trump Keeping Him Ignorant of Major Red Line Breach

A new report reveals concerns surrounding the management of U.S. foreign policy regarding Israel and the Palestinian territories, specifically highlighting the actions of a senior embassy aide, David Milstein, linked to Ambassador Mike Huckabee.

According to an investigation by The New York Times, Milstein has reportedly stifled crucial communications from the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem to Washington, undermining President Donald Trump’s stated policies.

In March, the Israeli government approved an unprecedented expansion of West Bank settlements—a move that could violate Trump’s firm stance against annexation. U.S. embassy staff prepared an urgent warning memo about this potential breach.

However, Milstein, who has served as Huckabee’s top adviser since his arrival in April 2025, allegedly quashed the memo, an act that may have kept Trump unaware of developments that contradicted his directives.

The Times cites testimonies from several officials indicating that Milstein has consistently altered or suppressed embassy reports to portray Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government positively.

During a surge in violence in the West Bank, embassy personnel alerted Washington about Israel’s insufficient response to settler attacks. Instead of sending the original accounts, Milstein reportedly submitted a revision emphasizing governmental action against rising tensions.

In a separate instance, critical reports concerning investigations into the deaths of nine Palestinian Americans allegedly killed by Israeli settlers and soldiers went unreported, as Milstein argued that Israel was managing the cases adequately.

Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), who has led a group of lawmakers demanding accountability in these investigations, warned, “If you don’t get accountability, you endanger more American citizens.”

Milstein’s management of the Palestinian affairs section reportedly led to a significant drop in embassy communications, from multiple reports per week to only a few per month. Staff members expressed frustration, choosing not to write reports they believed would be blocked.

Concerns about the information gap became so pronounced that officials from the White House and State Department sought direct contact with embassy staff to uncover the truth behind the altered narratives, according to the report.

Some senior officials in the White House have voiced grievances about Milstein’s influence on embassy reports, placing political considerations over the factual integrity of U.S. foreign policy.

While the extent of how Milstein’s actions may have impacted White House policy remains unclear, it is noted that Trump has made few comments on annexation since early February, even as Israeli control over the West Bank continues to expand.

Milstein, who is also the stepson of conservative commentator Mark Levin, possesses connections that may contribute to his standing within the embassy and influence over the reporting process.

Critics argue that the embassy’s failure to provide transparent and comprehensive reports damages the policymaking process and undermines the president’s objectives.

“The embassy ought to tell Washington everything—the good, the bad, and the ugly,” remarked Dan Kurtzer, a former ambassador to Israel, underscoring the importance of unvarnished communications between the embassy and the administration.

Huckabee, when approached for comment, dismissed the revelations from The Times as “so lacking in fact” and denounced them as exaggerated fabrications.

As tensions escalate in the region, the implications of this report raise critical questions about U.S. foreign policy effectiveness and the integrity of communication between American diplomats and Washington.

Despite the challenges of transparency, the need for accountable dialogue regarding U.S. actions and alliances in the Middle East remains crucial, especially as conflict and violence continue to affect American interests and citizens abroad.
