The account, named Former Fetterman Staffers, made its debut on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, indicating that its members had firsthand experience working on Fetterman’s campaign and in his Senate office.
In its inaugural message, the account referred to a recent Wall Street Journal article that scrutinized Fetterman’s work ethic, declaring, “We’re a group of former campaign & Senate staffers for John Fetterman who are disgusted with what he’s become.”
The post went on to suggest that the claims made in the Wall Street Journal were merely “the tip of the iceberg,” implying that deeper issues lurked beneath the surface. “It’s even worse than you thought,” they emphasized.
Setting a date for their revelations, the account invited followers to anticipate their first series of disclosures on September 14, coinciding with the Senate’s return to session.
This initiative, however, has raised eyebrows in Washington, stirring reactions not only from journalists but also political commentators, who quickly recognized the potential implications of this unprecedented move.
