After nearly a year of speculation, stolen kisses and carefully chosen photographs, Glen Powell has finally said what fans have been waiting to hear: his romance with Michelle Randolph is “very serious.”
The 37-year-old Top Gun: Maverick actor offered the rare glimpse into his private life while signing autographs for fans in New York City on Thursday.
What began as a casual question about going Instagram official quickly turned into something much bigger.
When asked whether publicly confirming his relationship with the 28-year-old Landman actress had made him nervous, Powell dismissed the idea without hesitation.
“It’s never nerve-wracking if you believe in it,” he said.
The response was confident, but the next question pushed him even further. A reporter asked whether the romance had become serious enough for an engagement within the coming year.

Powell did not confirm any proposal plans. He also did not retreat behind the ambiguity celebrities often use when discussing their relationships.
“I’d say it’s very serious,” he replied before continuing to greet fans.
Those four words represented the clearest public confirmation yet of a relationship that had gradually unfolded through sightings in Texas, Miami, Los Angeles, New York and Paris.
Powell and Randolph were first linked in November 2025 after a patron filmed them dancing together at a bar in Austin, Texas—Powell’s hometown. The TikTok video showed the pair appearing close and flirtatious during the night out.
They were not alone. Powell’s mother, Cyndy, was reportedly with them, offering an early sign that Randolph may already have been welcomed into his famously close family circle.
A source who saw them together described the pair as happy and “super cute.”
The sightings continued.
They attended an F1 event in Los Angeles before being seen together in Miami later that month. Although neither publicly confirmed a romance, their repeated appearances made it increasingly difficult to dismiss the connection as a casual friendship.
By June, any remaining doubts were fading. Photographs obtained during an informal outing in New York City captured Powell and Randolph sharing a kiss.
Still, the couple avoided making a public announcement.
That changed following their Fourth of July celebration.

On July 7, Powell shared an Instagram carousel documenting what he called a “Hell of a Fourth.” The images included dancing, parties, beer pong and guests wearing bunny hats—but one photograph immediately commanded nearly all the attention.
Near the end of the carousel was a picture of Powell and Randolph smiling as they kissed.
Fans flooded the comments with mock heartbreak and surprise, joking that they had been emotionally unprepared to discover that one of Hollywood’s most sought-after leading men was officially off the market.
Randolph quietly liked the post, allowing the image to speak for them both.
The celebration also appeared to show how closely their lives had already become intertwined. Randolph’s sister, Bachelor alum Cassie Randolph, attended with her husband, Brighton Reinhardt. Their brother Landon and his girlfriend, Saige Davis, were also present.
Powell’s sisters, Lauren and Leslie, joined the gathering, along with his mother. Celebrity friends including Zoey Deutch, Madelyn Cline, Kayla Ewell, Chord Overstreet and Rachel Lindsay were featured in the holiday photographs.
It was not simply a romantic reveal. It was a public picture of two families and friendship circles coming together.
One month later, Powell and Randolph took their romance overseas. They were photographed holding hands and kissing during a stroll through Paris on August 10, turning the French capital into the backdrop for their most openly affectionate appearance yet.
Until Powell’s New York comments, however, neither had publicly described the relationship in words.
The actor’s declaration marks a significant shift for a couple that allowed its story to emerge slowly. There was no glossy magazine announcement or lengthy statement—just a kiss hidden deep inside an Instagram carousel, followed months later by a simple admission delivered on a city sidewalk.
Before Randolph, Powell was in a nearly four-year relationship with model Gigi Paris. They separated in April 2023. He had previously been linked to actress Nina Dobrev and Australian television presenter Renee Bargh.

His rising fame also produced intense speculation about his chemistry with Sydney Sweeney while they promoted Anyone but You, though both maintained that their closeness was professional and part of promoting the romantic comedy.
Randolph, meanwhile, has been establishing her own career through roles in Landman, 1923 and the forthcoming Scream 7.
Now, the couple appears ready to stop hiding what has been visible for months.
Powell did not announce an engagement, set a timeline or reveal what might happen next. But when directly asked whether Randolph could be the woman he plans a future with, he made one thing unmistakably clear.
This is no fleeting Hollywood romance.
Glen Powell believes in it—and according to him, it has already become very serious.
