A growing controversy surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein case reportedly triggered alarm at the highest levels of the Trump administration — and according to a bombshell new report, Vice President JD Vance feared the situation was spiraling out of control.

The stunning account, based on an upcoming book by veteran reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, claims Vance urgently assembled top White House officials after a Justice Department memo intended to settle questions about Epstein instead sparked an even bigger political firestorm.

According to the report, the crisis began when the Justice Department and FBI released a memo stating that investigators had found no evidence of a secret Epstein “client list” long rumored by conspiracy theorists and online commentators.

Rather than ending the controversy, the memo reportedly ignited outrage among portions of the MAGA movement, with many supporters accusing the administration of withholding information.
