A stunning new report is reigniting questions surrounding Melania Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and the powerful modeling-world connections that linked them to some of the most disturbing figures in the Epstein network.
And critics say the timing could not be worse.
According to newly examined FBI interview notes released from the Epstein files, statements made by a former Epstein recruiter appear to directly contradict parts of Melania Trump’s emphatic public denial last month regarding her relationship to Epstein and his inner circle.
The revelations exploded after Raw Story published details from a 2019 FBI and federal prosecutor interview with Adriana Mucinska — also known as Adriana Ross — a former model who reportedly worked as a recruiter inside Epstein’s trafficking operation.
Mucinska was previously identified in investigations as one of several women associated with recruiting young girls for Epstein under the supervision of Ghislaine Maxwell.
But it was one line inside the FBI documentation that immediately detonated politically.
According to a typed FBI report summarizing Mucinska’s proffer interview with investigators, the document stated:
“Epstein introduced Melania Trump to Donald Trump.”
That sentence alone instantly triggered enormous attention because Melania publicly denied precisely that claim during a hastily organized White House press briefing last month.
“Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump,” Melania insisted at the time.
Now critics say the newly surfaced FBI material raises fresh questions about what exactly Melania knew — and why the White House moved so aggressively to publicly deny any deeper Epstein connection.
However, the situation quickly became more complicated.
Separate handwritten FBI notes from the same interview appear to partially contradict the typed report, suggesting the introduction may instead have been arranged by Paolo Zampolli — the powerful modeling agent long associated with both Melania and Trump.
Zampolli has consistently maintained over the years that he personally introduced Donald and Melania.
Still, even that version places the Trumps directly inside overlapping social and professional networks connected to Epstein-era modeling operations.
And that’s where the controversy deepens.
The FBI interview notes describe Mucinska arriving in New York through Zampolli’s modeling agency, ID Models, where she reportedly lived in crowded model apartments with other young foreign recruits working on visas.
According to investigators’ notes, Mucinska later met Epstein through Zampolli and eventually worked directly for Epstein himself.
The report also alleges that Zampolli and Epstein at one point discussed purchasing Elite Models together.
Critics argue the documents paint a disturbing picture of how tightly interconnected elite modeling agencies, wealthy social circles, and Epstein’s operation may have been during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
The story has become even more explosive because Zampolli now serves in the Trump administration as a State Department special envoy for global partnerships.
Meanwhile, Melania’s own public statements are now facing renewed scrutiny.
During her April press conference, she claimed her name had “never appeared in court documents, depositions, victim statements, or FBI interviews surrounding the Epstein matter.”
But the newly discussed FBI interview appears to directly undermine that statement.
The controversy also revived attention around a 2002 email exchange between Melania and Maxwell that had already generated speculation online.
Melania previously dismissed the message as a trivial and polite exchange.
However, critics noted the released documents showed Melania initiated the communication herself — not Maxwell.
The broader story extends far beyond one disputed introduction.
Multiple former models interviewed by federal investigators reportedly described eerily similar recruitment pipelines involving foreign models, crowded Manhattan apartments, nightclub introductions, wealthy clients, and eventual encounters with Epstein.
One woman reportedly told investigators that after signing with ID Models and living in a model apartment, she was later approached by a recruiter who introduced her to Epstein under the guise of meeting a wealthy client.
She later described suffering a severe emotional breakdown afterward.
Another former model, Amanda Ungaro, reportedly arrived in New York aboard Epstein’s private jet and later became romantically involved with Zampolli for years.
Now Ungaro has reportedly expressed willingness to testify before congressional investigators exploring Epstein-related matters.
None of the documents released publicly accuse Melania Trump of criminal wrongdoing.
But the resurfacing FBI material is once again exposing how deeply Epstein’s network intersected with elite political, business, and modeling circles — including individuals now connected to the White House itself.
And critics believe the growing contradictions surrounding the story may explain why the First Lady moved so quickly to publicly deny any connection before these latest revelations surfaced.
Because in the Epstein saga, even a single disputed sentence inside an FBI file can suddenly become politically explosive.
