President Donald Trump’s loyal supporters are turning on one of the Trump family’s newest business ventures after months of waiting for a flashy gold “Trump phone” that still hasn’t arrived.
And now frustrated MAGA fans are demanding answers.
The controversy centers around the “T1” smartphone launched by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump through their Trump Mobile venture.
The device was originally promoted as a patriotic, America-first alternative to mainstream smartphones — complete with promises of premium service, conservative branding, and claims tied to American manufacturing.
But nearly nine months after preorders reportedly opened, critics say customers still have no release date, no phones, and very little information.
That frustration is now exploding online.
One viral TikTok video featured a visibly angry Trump supporter directly calling out Trump’s sons after claiming he preordered multiple gold Trump phones last year.
“Where the f–k’s my phone?” the man asked in the now widely shared clip.
The backlash intensified after reports claimed nearly 600,000 people may have already placed $100 deposits for the devices.
Critics quickly began doing the math online.
“600,000 people ordered the Trump phone,” one social media user wrote. “So where’s the $60 million?”
The controversy grew even larger after users noticed fine print on the Trump Mobile website reportedly stating that pre-ordering the device “does not guarantee” the phone will actually be produced or made available for purchase.
That disclaimer stunned many supporters who believed the phones were already in active production.
Even more awkwardly, critics also noticed the company quietly changed its marketing language surrounding where the phones would actually be made.
When first announced, the phones were heavily promoted as “Made in America,” with Trump Jr. publicly insisting manufacturing would eventually happen entirely inside the United States.
But according to reports, the company later removed the bold “Made in America” claims from its website.
Instead, the phones are now described more vaguely as being “designed with American values in mind” and developed with “American innovation.”
Critics instantly accused the Trump family of misleading customers.
Supporters of the venture argue delays are common in the tech industry and say critics are politically motivated.
But the situation has become especially embarrassing because the product was marketed directly toward Trump’s most loyal political base — many of whom are now publicly expressing anger and disappointment.
The Trump Organization has not publicly explained the ongoing delays or confirmed when customers can expect the phones to ship.
Meanwhile, the internet is increasingly treating the missing Trump phones as another symbol of what critics call Trump-branded hype overtaking reality.
And for some frustrated MAGA supporters still waiting for the gold smartphones they already paid deposits on, patience may finally be running out.
