Colin Jost Roasts RFK Jr. for ‘Weird Move’ After Oval Office Collapse

Saturday Night Live anchor Colin Jost took aim at Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on this week’s “Weekend Update,” mocking the Health Secretary’s bizarre reaction when a pharmaceutical executive collapsed during a White House press event.

“The craziest part is that during the commotion, RFK Jr. just runs away,” Jost told the audience. “Watch this.”

The show then played zoomed-in footage of the Oval Office chaos — with President Donald Trump standing frozen behind his desk while aides rushed to help the man, and Kennedy slipping quickly out of frame.

“How suspicious is that?” Jost said, shaking his head. “That’s a weird move.”

The comedian then delivered one of the night’s biggest punchlines:

“Don’t worry — the man who collapsed is totally OK. You can tell because if there’s something dead on the ground, RFK eats it.”

The quip was a nod to Kennedy’s own admission last year that he once kept a freezer full of roadkill and had previously dumped a bear carcass in Central Park — details that have followed him throughout his controversial tenure.

Jost didn’t stop there. He pivoted to the New York City mayoral election, where progressive Democrat Zohran Mamdani triumphed over Andrew Cuomo, despite endorsements for Cuomo from Donald Trump and Eric Adams.

“Which,” Jost joked, “is like trying to bring a girl home by saying, ‘Not to brag, but I have hepatitis B and C.’”

His co-anchor Michael Che joined in, quipping that Cuomo’s final day of campaigning “looked like O.J. Simpson’s last ride,” adding,

“At least O.J. was ahead in the race for a while.”

Colin Jost on “Saturday Night Live” wonders how Zohran Mamdani won, despite the glowing endorsement of Trump for his opponent.

Che also took a parting shot at perennial candidate Curtis Sliwa, saying, “He conceded the race in front of his most loyal supporters — squirrels!”

It was a vintage SNL moment: sharp, fast, and fearlessly skewering political absurdity.

By the time Jost signed off, viewers were still buzzing about the viral Oval Office clip — and RFK Jr.’s “weird move” that’s quickly become the latest political meme.
