Influencer Keeley Whitcomb Mourns Deaths of Her 2 Children in Nebraska Crash as Husband Fights for Life

A Nebraska community is reeling after a tragic crash claimed the lives of two young children and left their father fighting for survival in intensive care. The children’s mother, influencer Keeley Whitcomb, shared the heartbreaking news on TikTok, where she has built a following posting Disney-inspired content and travel tips.

“Yesterday was the worst day of my life,” Whitcomb wrote in a post on Sept. 16, just a day after the accident. “An accident has taken my two children from me, and put my husband in the intensive care unit. Consider me out of the Disney office.”

The fatal collision occurred at an uncontrolled intersection on a rural road near Hastings, Nebraska, on Monday, Sept. 15, according to reports from local outlets NTV News and KLKN-TV. The Adams County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that a pickup truck driven by Blake Whitcomb, 33, collided with a farm silage truck operated by Dale Feik, 66.

Both men were rushed to Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital for treatment. Blake remains hospitalized in critical condition. Tragically, the couple’s two children — 10-year-old Laynee Rae and 7-year-old Ryder — were pronounced dead at the scene.

The devastating news has sparked an outpouring of grief online. Keeley, who also works as a travel agent with Dreams Travel Consulting, followed up her announcement with emotional video tributes to each child.

In her tribute to her daughter, she shared photos of Laynee Rae with the caption: “10 years was not long enough for me. Forever on my mind, my Laynee Rae. 9/15/2025.”

Her post for Ryder, her 7-year-old stepson, was equally gut-wrenching. “Once upon a time, I met a boy. I fell in love with him the moment I met him,” she wrote. “Though I didn’t know him all his life, I got to know him 3 years. Being a step-parent is a whole different kind of love. 9/15/2025.”

Family members have also spoken publicly about the loss. Cheryl Gardner, Ryder’s grandmother, posted to Facebook: “Yesterday, Heaven got a new angel. Fly high Ryder and thank you for blessing me, if only for a short time. God has bigger plans for you my little buddy.”

Authorities continue to investigate the crash, though initial reports indicate that both drivers survived the impact while the children bore the brunt of the tragedy. No updates on potential charges or causes of the collision have been released.

The Whitcomb family’s grief has struck a chord with Keeley’s online community, many of whom followed her for her enthusiasm for Disney and family travel. Messages of support, prayers, and condolences have flooded her social media pages since the announcement.

As Blake remains in the ICU, Keeley and extended family are left navigating unimaginable loss. In her own words, this disease of grief has “brought her to her knees” — yet her tributes make clear that she will carry Laynee Rae and Ryder with her always.
