Elon Musk, the renowned entrepreneur behind Tesla and SpaceX, has officially announced his resignation from Donald Trump’s administration, citing fundamental disagreements over the direction and priorities of the federal government.

Musk had taken on a prominent role as the head of the newly created Department of Government Efficiency, which was established to bring sweeping reforms to federal operations by eliminating waste, cutting bureaucracy, and streamlining government functions.
