The distressing call for assistance was made by Perry’s personal assistant, who immediately dialed 911 upon finding the actor in dire straits. The audio from the 911 call, obtained by TMZ, reveals a voice urgently stating, “Agent 23. Rescue 23. EMS 9 on the radio. Drowning response.” The remaining parts of the 16-minute audio clip have been censored.
The official cause of Perry’s passing is still under investigation.
